Privacy policy — KASPR Timing for Slack
Last updated 7 October 2026.
Who we are
KASPR Timing is operated by KASPR Datahaus Pty Ltd (ABN 67 624 542 909). Contact: info@kasprdata.com.
What we collect
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace id, app and bot ids, the installer's user id, install time, plan, and the bot token (encrypted) | To answer commands in your workspace and apply your plan | Until uninstall |
| For each person who opts in: their Slack user id and the region (area) they chose, with the date | To answer for that person's area | Until they clear it or the app is uninstalled |
| Saved audiences: a name you choose and a list of up to ten areas with percentages | To reuse an audience | Until deleted or uninstall |
| Monthly count of checks per workspace (a number) | To apply the free plan limit | 24 months, or until uninstall |
What we never collect
Message content, names, emails, profile photos, channel lists or membership, and who was mentioned in a command. When you mention people, the app reads each person's Slack time zone at that moment (to place people who haven't chosen a region) and does not keep it. Server logs record the kind of request, a hashed workspace label and the response time only.
How it's used
Only to produce the answers you ask for. The app uses no AI or machine-learning models, does not train any model on Slack data, does not sell or share data, and sends no data to third parties. It runs on Render (Singapore region).
Access, transfer and deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes all of the workspace's data within 24 hours (in practice immediately); we keep only
a one-way hashed workspace label, deletion time and generation marker, to record deletion and prevent unfinished requests from restoring deleted data. Anyone can clear their own region with
/kaspr region clear. To request a copy of your workspace's data, its transfer, or its deletion
without uninstalling, email us at the address above; we reply within 2 business days.
Security
Bot tokens are encrypted at rest. Every request from Slack is verified with Slack's signing secret. Access to the production database is limited to KASPR operators.
